what are your thoughts ??

Folk and fairy tales, what’s the difference? Idk yet, but I do know that, “The Little Red Robin Hood” being one of the all times movies that many people love, and all the other remakes of it ( am I giving it too much credit?). How good was the movie to you? Any who, enough with the questions!! I bet you didn’t know that “The Little Red Robin Hood” is indeed a European fairytale.  But my question is, what inspired Charles Perrault to have come up with the idea of a young girl traveling to go see her grandmother who is unfortunately eaten by a wolf before she could even get to her? Only traveling without the knowledge that she will be eaten next when she arrives. This fairytale creates so much wonder for me. For instance, just thinking about it like how do you not tell that a wolf is dressed up as your grandmother? Are you blind or you just can’t see. Or what gave the wolf the idea to impersonate an old lady just to eat the granddaughter? That question “blows me away” that phrase should have been used on a different tale oink* oink*. Anyway going back to the fact that the wolf went through a lot of trouble if you think about it. When he could have been like any other animal and ate another animal but noooo he had to be greedy and eat two people. The more the merrier I guess! Which then comes to the reasoning of why I chose this class,  which is mainly because it sounds very interesting who wouldn't want to learn about folk and fairytales because all im going to say is where do I sign up!? Also, i joined the class to learn more about the folk and fairytales and the difference between the two. I hope to leave this class with more knowledge on some of my favorite folk and fairytale stories such as cinderella, beauty and the beast, princess and the frog, Snow White and a couple more if we don't run out of time like a certain princess did "bibbidi bobbidi boo!"
